Finance Operations Jobs description

Responsibilities for a finance operations job consist of financial reporting, plant accounting, reconciliation services, billing and payment services, disbursement, and managing payrolls. A financial operations professional prepares financial reports of the company i.e., balance sheet, income and expenditure statements, and analysis of future earnings or expenses. A financial operations person needs to manage the accounting, budgeting, and audit departments; supervise the financial transactions and business operations of the company so as to minimize risks and losses and maximize revenue and profit; manage trusts, mortgages, investments, and authorization of loans; and take care of daily financial transactions and prepare the financial budget of the company. A finance operational professional maintains liaison with auditors and income tax officials. A finance operations professional should be well conversant with the tax rules and regulations that apply to and affect the company.

A financial operations professional should preferably possess an accredited degree in business administration with specialization in finance. Excellent communication and negotiating skills are important. Proficiency in Mac OS, MS Office, Excel, and QuickBooks may also be required.
