Operations Manager Jobs description
Operations management involves handling various operations, such as production, distribution, sales, and supply chain management, in an effective and efficient manner. Operations management also requires efficient inventory management, human resources management, fund allocation, studying productivity reports and management of employees, ensuring that sales revenue targets are met or exceeded, scheduling projects, setting priorities, implementing SAP and ERP systems, business process reengineering, process improvement, logistics and vendor management, handling customer inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting client deadlines.Positions that fall under the umbrella of operations management jobs include branch manager, project manager, territory manager, team leader, chief operations officer, senior manager of operations, operations head, director of business operations, facilities supervisor, and warehouse officer, among others. These positions require applicants to have several years of progressive experience in business administration. An SAP or ERP qualification may also be required.
