Operation Intern Jobs description

An operations internship familiarizes a candidate with a company’s operations. The position covers various business areas. An operations intern is made to function not only in operations but also in other domains. An operations intern begins with a company overview and an orientation, undergoes both formal and informal training, is assigned both small and big projects, and the final presentation is displayed before a management team.

An operations intern is made to understand how a company achieves profit and growth in sales by direct contact with customers. Such positions get exposure to different clients of the company, both internal and external. An operations intern is a member of the intern network of a company and needs to attend business presentations and workshops on regular basis in order to improve understanding of a the company. An operations intern also has to assist the office coordinator in making presentations for meetings. An operations intern should be a student of business administration, and possess good communication skills, both written and oral. Being conversant with Microsoft Office is important.
