Provide tactical purchasing activities and execution in the Danville KY. Manufacturing site. Collaborate and support the purchasing and planning management Team with their purchasing needs and requirements along with independently resolving purchasing, receiving and invoicing issues to ensure timely shipment of supplies from vendors. Place orders in the system, follow up with order status and contact suppliers and internal customers as required. Assist procurement managers to close the loop of sourcing, procurement and fulfillment. This position continuously works with planning and suppliers to improve supplier on-time delivery and quality, and works continuously to improve inventory turns and look for cost reduction opportunities. Participate in projects that drive to team target. You are expected to handle multiple priorities which requires considerable coordination and follow up.


· This position will perform calls to suppliers and purchase order data maintenance

· Monitor purchase order status for on time delivery

· Communicate, expedite, escalate and track critical shortages that impact production

· Daily and weekly ordering tasks associated with vendor managed programs for fasteners, pneumatic components and electrical components

· Provide sourcing data packages to secure quotes for outsourcing activities

· Support procurement manager and planning for projects

· Interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders for order fulfillment

· Prepare reports by extracting data from system

· Assist in the implementation and execution of a formalized lead-time maintenance and monitoring program

· Participate in Danville site HOS, 5S and Lean initiatives

30 Monitor the purchasing orders in system and make sure the deliverables on time

25 Prepare reports by extracting data from system

30 Interacts with suppliers and internal stakeholders for order fulfillment

15 Arrange meetings for internal stakeholder alignments


2-5 years’ experience in purchasing

Degree preferred


Effective oral and written communication skills

Good problem-solving skills

Accuracy and attention to detail

The ability to learn and catch on to new tasks and ideas

Expertise in administrative processes and high-volume systemtransactions

The ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders

Oracle experience

Some experience in buying, procurement administrative work or aprocurement support function
