Allocation Department Manager and Call Off Department Manager
Overall Job Function:
Leads, manages and organizes the workflow of staff on the floor with direction from Allocation or Call Off Department Managers. Assists in driving the overall Distribution Center results by utilizing H&M values, policies and procedures. Collaborates with other departments as necessary.
Job Responsibility including but not limited to:
Supervises a certain number of staff within a department and ensures compliance to H&M logistic operational best practices and routines.
Ensures that all staff is well informed of the collections, advertising campaigns, promotions, and other company projects.
Together with the DC Management team, communicate and follow up on all logistic goals and KPI’s in order to achieve the highest level of customer service to the stores.
Ensures that staff is knowledgeable on all allocation/call off processes.
Must be able to operate and train staff on computer systems programs such as kea, excel, and e-mail programs as needed.
Provide conditions within department for people to grow and develop which includes utilizing all relevant tools and materials, having continuous dialogues, and ensuring right people are in the right roles.
Accurately assesses his/her staff and provides feedback about their performance on a daily basis.
Maintains focus upon staff development and provides feedback to the department managers regarding the team’s performance.
Works with the Allocation and or Call Off Department Managers to formulate clear and challenging goals for the staff and follows up daily.
Works closely with the DC Management team and other departments to prevent loss as well as ensures all health and safety standards are met at all times.
Works according to H&M policies, procedures and routines and ensures staff does as well.
Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
Must have one to two years of management experience, preferably in distribution center and/or store operations
Preferably at least one year in Distribution Center Operations in a high volume, high SKU replenish and pick environment
Fluency in the Spanish language is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to company specific systems
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Experience with training and development of staff
Detail oriented, with strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and troubleshooting effectively with positive results.
Focuses upon teamwork and works actively to establish a professional efficient relationship between the managers and the staff alike.
