Carrier Enterprise is a joint venture between Watsco, Inc. and Carrier Corporation. Carrier Enterprise sells and distributes Carrier, Bryant and Payne residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products, parts and supplies throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean utilizing 110 locations in 20 states and Puerto Rico. We are looking for a talented, detail oriented Operations Specialist

to support the Mid-South Region. This position will be located in the Memphis, TN market area and will report to the Regional Director of Operations.

General Responsibilities

The Operations Specialist is an integral position which functions in a small, service oriented team.

Duties include the following:

Responsible for ensuring the Regional dashboard is updated and submitted weekly to the Director of Operations

Manages all warehouse transfer exceptions, tracks and manages a weekly scorecard of open orders, warehouse transfers, and purchase orders

Conducts and records bin audits performed by the Operations' team

Tracks and records EH&S and facility audits

Manages and ensures audit completion tasks are completed by store and hub personnel on time

Sends out weekly open orders' report and tracks compliance

Sends out weekly open purchase orders' report and tracks compliance

Reviews and completes weekly out of policy returns' report

Creates CTS reports, creates data warehouse reports, and tracks regional operations' expenses

Assists in running/implementing NxTrend reports such as ICZTI, ICRZU and others

Participates in and runs physical inventories

Handles miscellaneous duties such as: assisting with facility moves, EH&S audits, facility audits, warranty claiming, standardized filing auditis, forklift tracking, cycle counts, training, unavailable reconciliation, OTC reconciliation, out of policy returns, etc.

Assists the Purchasing Department as required to include duties such as running reports, tracking, and the ordering and tracking of material.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA/AS or BA/BS a plus

Qualifications:

Prior work experience in HVAC parts and supplies wholesale and/or distribution a plus

Strong business problem solving skills, high sense of urgency and strong interpersonal communication skills

PC literacy a must
