SUMMARY:

This Sr. Analyst position reports to the Continuous Improvement team, which is responsible for assisting in the coordination development and delivery of Tyson Productivity System TPS training programs at different locations across the enterprise plant facilities and corporate campuses. The Sr. Analyst will interact with all levels of management and work with CI leadership to conduct location assessments monitor and follow-up; to review TPS skill development needs for locations supported and make training recommendations; and to actively participate in executing the TPS deployment strategy. The major responsibilities for the Sr. Analyst include:

Reporting: Develop and publish daily, weekly, quarterly reports for team leaders and operations management in addition to ad hoc requests.

Analysis: Provide analytical insight on operations performance as well as continuous improvement activities.

Data Management – Manage user roles and responsibilities, provide quality assurance of imported data, and commission and decommission data sets.

To do well as a Sr. Analyst you will need a deep understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt Project Management Professional PMP preferred but not required.

Experience: 3 plus years’ experience; experience in Lean Six Sigma practices; experience in Project Management.

Technical Skills: Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Project Manage, Excel, Minitab, Word, and Power BI. Proficient systems knowledge to include but not limited to SAP, SAP Analysis for Excel, Word, Excel, Access, Power BI, and PowerPoint.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work and influence all levels of the organization.

Travel: up to 75%

Special Skills: Knowledge of Tyson sales accounting methods
