To achieve this ambition, a single integrated supply chain organization was created in 2019. The new Gulf of Mexico Supply Chain (SC) organization has modernized the supply chain and is driving end to end supply chain performance for all Gulf of Mexico operations.

The Supply Chain Commercial Lead GOM DW Wells – Wells Services is a role at the leading edge of Supply Chain delivery, not only in Shell, but also in the industry as we position ourselves to truly leverage our global footprint. As a member of the only fully integrated and biggest Supply Chain in Upstream, and as part of the new Wells Franchise Supply Chain delivery model, this role is pivotal to the success of GOM, and beyond that to DW, Supply Chain and Wells.

The successful candidate must be a change agent and partner across the GOM Supply Chain, and with the Business to drive a commercial mindset within DW, including Wells, Asset, and Functional teams in the Gulf of Mexico.

Wells and Supply Chain are moving together to a Franchise Well Delivery Model, a step which will enable the Wells ambitions of 25% improvement in Capital Efficiency by 2025. The new global Wells Supply Chain system must be highly collaborative, seamlessly managing the Hub/Country interface, while successfully balancing the needs and impact on the in-country physical supply chain. The aim is interdependence, not independence, with collective motivation to deliver for RDS as one highly effective & efficient Natural Team.

The Wells In-Country Supply Chain teams will directly support Well Operations and lead the local embedment and execution of the Franchise model. These teams will manage the physical supply chain, drive supplier performance & continuous improvement, lead Regulator/Partner engagement and local content delivery, and provide vital input and feedback to the Hub on what really works on the ground and local market behavior.

The Hub will have ownership of the Franchise program including work package development and maintenance. In collaboration with In-Country teams, the Hub will be accountable for delivery of Franchise Supply Chain strategies and Standard Practices, global Franchise deals, and developing & deploying blueprints for E2E Contract Execution and Management.

Where you fit in –
