Engines Global Planning Lead

The Global Planning Lead has global responsibility for the efficient planning, execution, and flow of materials across the entire supply chain.The Engines Global Planning Lead is a functional subject matter expert within the master production scheduling function.

Responsibilities include:

Assist in providing leadership and structure to the Engines Global Planning group

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in planning processes

Train and mentor new global planners on processes and system

Manage high-impact programs

Serve as a focal point for major program restarts and New Product Introduction programs

Drive maturity of SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process

Drive Operational Excellence through development and implementation of improvements in planning and production control processes, including ongoing improvements in Class A MRPII, Planning Performance and Integration, Global Distribution Optimization

Development and ongoing refinement of management operating systems

Plan and execute production and delivery of OEM and Aftermarket products to optimize customer OTTR, OTD, Past Due, MPS Health, Linearity, Overmax and other performance goals. Support inventory planning activities, participate in tiered accountability process, and interface with SBU contacts to ensure closed loop feedback

Serve as focal point for preparation of Customer Presentations including Operating Reviews, Production Readiness Reviews, System Audits, and other requirements

Development, implement and refine planner desk level metrics

40 Lead team to meet metrics

30 Standard work MOS

30 Resolve long term supply chain issues

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or other related field.

5 years of experience with demonstrated success in a number of roles across the areas of supply management, manufacturing planning, quality, procurement, supply chain planning and execution

Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

5 years of experience with demonstrated success in a number of roles across the areas of supply management, manufacturing planning, quality, procurement, supply chain planning and executionSix Sigma Green Belt Certification

Additional Qualifications:

Must possess an excellent working knowledge of advanced Supply Chain practices and MRP systems

Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing complex process and systems change projects.

Demonstrated capability to improve and strengthen internal processes as well as the ability to drive Supply Chain management principles collaboratively with Suppliers and Customers.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization. Demonstrated capability to improve and strengthen internal processes as well as the ability to drive Supply Chain management principles collaboratively with Suppliers and Customers.
