As a Program Manager (PM) for Amazon Intellectual Property (IP) operations team, you will play a pivotal role in inventing, simplifying, and scaling the work of the Amazon's IP Operations Legal team and our business partners worldwide. In this role, you will own and drive implementation and improvement of legal technology and processes. You will work with software development engineers to provide tools and services that will improve the productivity of users on our team and the business teams they work with. This role allows for a high degree of ownership of the solutions you launch and the ability to make positive change every day. RESPONSIBILITIES Configure the team's software tools to directly improve the functionality of those tools Manage interactions with internal and external support teams to troubleshoot problems and drive improvements to the team's software tools Plan and execute projects to improve the team's systems and processes Develop and improve metrics measurement and reporting tools Build internal customer and stakeholder relationships to manage expectations and agree on clear goals, objectives, and timelines Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 5 years of experience in an operational role. Experience managing a software system; including assessing cost/benefits and configuring for user experience. Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications 5 or more years' experience with enterprise level project or program management Experience with detailed project planning, reporting, and measurement Experience with software development Experience with trademarks, patents, or other legal docketing processes and systems High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously Experience working in a technical, metrics-driven environment Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer – Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
