The successful candidate for this position will have experience supporting and developing software acquisition processes for a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Program Office. The individual must have the ability to work independently while representing the Program Office across multiple functional areas to achieve program goals.
Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Provides programmatic support to clients, including financial support, administrative coordination, and management of timelines.
Develop, review and update program documents required by the Defense Acquisition System per DoD regulations to include Life Cycle Cost Estimate, Milestone Decision Documents, Risk Management, and other required documents.
Support and implement DoD Acquisition and Life-cycle Management processes and procedures as required by the Defense Acquisition Management Framework
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of various type events in support of the Department of Defense Acquisition process for the following CBRN information programs and future systems:
Warning and Reporting
Hazard Prediction Modeling
CBRN Information System (CBRN-IS)
CBRN System Command and Control (CSC2)

The US Systems Engineering Offering delivers large scale software applications and integrated systems and assists its clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. The practice aims at developing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems. It would focus on key client issues that impact the core business by delivering operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required
An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Bachelor's Degree in technical or business area.
DAU level I or equivalent in Logistics or Acquisition certification
(3) years of demonstrated experience in systems acquisition and product support planning, development, and implementation.
Experience with joint service acquisition, military structure, and command relationships.
Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and CBRN is a plus.
Possess a strong knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office software products.
Ability to brief senior level acquisition stakeholders, military personnel, and emergency management customers on the status of training material development and future plans for improvement.
Must be motivated and a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to support extensive travel up to 25%
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York City, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,000 to $155,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
