This position will be responsible for managing the preparation and legalization of regulatory documentation to support global registrations; managing the compilation and maintenance of specific registration data; ensuring compliance with FIFRA import and export regulations; managing the preparation of international labels for commercial products and research and development (R&D) samples; and supervising three or more registration specialists in these functional areas.

Depending upon the business needs and candidate, the position may be located at either Philadelphia or Delaware. The preferred location is Philadelphia, PA.

Supervise three or more registration specialists in the functional areas of regulatory documentation, registration records, import and export compliance, and international labels.

Manage the preparation and legalization of regulatory documentation to support global registrations. Work closely with Global Regulatory Active Ingredient Managers to ensure accuracy of complex documents and proper handling of confidential business information.

Manage the compilation and maintenance of specific registration data.

Assess existing, pending and new FIFRA import, export and product movement regulations; determine and communicate their impact to the business; develop a strategy for managing the outcome; and implement guidance documents, processes and action plans to ensure compliance. Conduct training for key stakeholders on an on-going basis.

Manage the preparation of FIFRA import and export labels for commercial products. Collaborate with regional colleagues to ensure labels are aligned with currently approved country labels and are acceptable in importing countries.

Manage the preparation of international direct ship labels for commercial technical products. Collaborate with regional colleagues to ensure labels are aligned with currently approved country labels and are acceptable in importing countries.

Manage the preparation of R&D labels for sample shipments. Collaborate with development to understand their priorities and to proactively develop labels during peak season to ensure the timely receipt of samples for field trials.

Review 3rd Party commercial and R&D labels prior to import into the US to ensure compliance with FIFRA.

Provide FIFRA guidance to shippers of commercial products and research samples to the U.S. Supply instructions and addendum letters to our brokers for EPA submission and approval.

Provide guidance on FPAS requirements and conduct training with customer service representatives. Coordinate the annual summary of exports for submission to EPA.

Build and maintain relationships with Regional EPA officials. Act as point of contact for import related questions.

Build on regulatory knowledge. Lead special projects and/or additional functional areas as appropriate.

Build and maintain strong internal working relationships with Global Regulatory and Registration Managers, Legal, Global Supply Chain, API and Development.

Work in a safe manner. Support a safe working environment and security measures in word and in practice.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, typically from the science disciplines

Minimum 5 years experience in highly regulated sector of the chemical industry, preferably agricultural chemicals

Broad knowledge of FIFRA import and export regulations

Experience managing a team and promoting a positive work environment

Experience in managing complex issues that lead to win-win solutions

Experience with working well in a global cross-functional team environment

Experience in managing numerous projects simultaneously

Experience in prioritizing work independently

Strong leadership skills
