Position Description:

Manage month- end and year-end closing; prepare, analyze and provide financial management reports to the MS&T organization and internal manufacturing sites based in multiple locations.

Maintain and improve monthly financial reports for VP of MS&T and MS&T Business Units, with a strong emphasis on headcount management.

In collaboration with the business partners; prepare, analyze and present annual budget, twice annual financial projections, and other adhoc analysis as needed

Support Finance Director and Assoc. Dir. Internal Operations in monthly close and forecast reporting process for internal manufacturing sites

Develop, document and update work instructions on key roles and responsibilities

Challenge status quo; continuously strive for simplification and automation of routine tasks

Perform SOX testing and other internal control procedures as required

Assist and support internal and external auditors’ in their audit procedures

Interact closely with other members of the finance team in the consolidation and reporting of monthly/quarterly financial reports to Finance HQ

Support ad-hoc projects, OpEx diagnostics and other project initiatives as they arise

Position Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of diversified experience in accounting or finance in the pharmaceutical industry

Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance; MBA and /or CPA strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and internal control protocols required

Proficiency in MS Excel, Access and Power Point required and working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion and TM1 is a plus

Able to adapt to changing environment and business conditions

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, be well organized and detail oriented

Strong communication skills, both oral and written are essential

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, highly motivated, quick learner and work independently. Individual must be able to present to senior level management.

Periodic travel required to network sites
