Regional Director of Logistics, SPS Integrated Supply Chain

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent is primarily responsible for end-to-end Logistics encompassing distribution operations and inbound/outbound transportation planning and management in support of all Safety and Productivity Solutions’ (SPS) Global Business Enterprises in the region. Incumbent must possess a solid understanding of and best practices related to Logistics organization and operations spanning supply base to final delivery. Position reports to VP, Global Logistics, SPS ICS.

Role accountabilities include:

To ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and policies.

Plan and implement competitive distribution and transportation strategies that support best in class performance and achieve SPS strategic and annual operating targets.

Lead and manage day-to-day Logistics operations within the region.

Continuously improve procedures, processes and system capability using key metrics.

Develop team capability and succession planning that adds value to the business.

Effective change champion supporting business transition and repositioning initiatives.

Optimize transportation mode usage and resultant costs.

Network layout and management – determination of the optimal number, size and location(s) of facilities such as distribution centers, cross docks, etc.

Leads and supports projects to be executed at 3PLs & DCs such as process optimization and new technology introduction.

Has a strong understanding of TMS applications and drives implementation of transport management improvements through simplification and automation of processes.

Work cross-departmentally to enhance analytics and reporting focused on Key Performance Indicators.

Effective risk management and project management skill

Builds strong relationships with 3PL and Freight Forwarding partners and internal cross functional groups; sharing information and best practices.

Ensure strong collaboration with key stakeholders including functional and Site leaders regionally and globally as appropriate.

25 Create logistics strategy and lead the implementation

15 Lead Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP)


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Business management.

10 years of relevant and progressive experience with organizations of similar size and complexity.


Experience in leading remote teams.

Experience in highly matrixed organizations.

Broad and deep understanding of Logistics’ economic and financial drivers.

Passion for customer, service and operational excellence.

Post graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering or Business discipline.

Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen, permanent resident or have protected status.Exempt HONEYWELL SPS - The Connected Supply Chain
