Senior Managers are professionals with strong records of academic and professional achievement who have the capacity and desire for continuous development and growth. Deloitte professionals must also be capable of working and communicating with people at all levels of an organization.
Senior Managers lead multiple project work streams, and large engagement teams supporting complex engagements. They mentor junior practitioners as they conduct detailed, quantitative analyses associated with developing meaningful insights to address health care providers' biggest challenges. These challenges encompass everything from helping providers identify strategies, optimize care redesign, increase revenues, decrease costs, accelerate cash flow strategy, care redesign, improve margin, clinical and operational workflows by addressing people, processes, and technology across every aspect of the project lifecycle.
Deloitte Senior Managers typically work with a project team dedicated to a single client, taking direction from Principal/Partner/Directors. They work side by side with Principals/Partner/Directors, with exposure to C-level executives and organizational leaders. Project teams work onsite with the client team.
As a Senior Manager, you will be asked to provide project management and thought leadership in a variety of challenging roles, make significant contributions in a relatively short time, take responsibility for the way you manage your time, develop your skill set, and deliver creative, compelling insights to the client. Responsibilities
Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop thoughtware and point-of-view documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Minimum Qualifications;
12 years of professional experience working in a Supply Chain Management organization
8 years of relevant Supply Chain experience with a focus on Planning, Fulfillment, and Logistics with some years working in a Consulting environment
Demonstrated experience leading project teams and working with cross-functional / extended teams in a complex environment
Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-thread programs including scope definition, objective prioritization, risk management, and issue resolution
Experience using analytics and metrics to assess supply chain performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities
Bachelor's Degree
Ability to travel up to 50%

Advanced degree in business or health care-related field (e.g., MHA, MBA) from a top tier program
Superior critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Expertise in delivering high-quality program outcomes according to the scope, work plan, quality standards and budget
Ability to support development of others by delivering key performance feedback, coaching and demonstrating role-model behavior
Exceptional interpersonal, team-building, collaboration, and communication skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $185,000 to $309,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
