Job Purpose/Summary:

This position has comprehensive responsibility for all functional areas of multiple Live locations including the efficient operation of production maintenance personnel safety sanitation scheduling quality and process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include: motivating managers to provide guidance and programs to enhance the skill level of their team members; resolving issues related to the quality of incoming and outgoing birds; reviewing cost and performance data to help determine areas in need of improvement; contributing and analyzing efficiency reports and obtaining approval and executing all capital improvements for the designated facilities. Other duties include: initiating discussion and implementation of improvement in all phases of the operation; assisting in identifying evaluating and correcting problems; safety, animal welfare; other duties as assigned.

ROLE SCOPE: Provides guidance leadership and coaching to Live managers and support groups across the division Required to successfully fill in when necessary in the absence of a Live Production Mgr level Develop and lead problem resolution and providing optimal solutions for daily operations Address correct and hold accountable locations that are underperforming Effectively motivate leadership team to reach short and long-term goals New Hatchery, Feed Mill, Truck Shop, plant manager onboarding and training Identify and deliver development opportunities for live management Identify needs establish and execute training for managers focusing manager level Oversee manage special projects for the Business Unit Responsible for identifying key performers for succession planning and assisting to develop the pipeline.

Requirements:

Education/Certifications: Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent.

Experience: 8 plus years of Live Production experience .

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Supervisory: Managing several groups of personnel who perform diverse tasks and activities in several locations.

Travel: Up to 5 trips may be required

Relocation: Must be willing to relocate when necessary.

This position is a training role that will oversee Live locations in Eufala. This position has the opportunity for advancement and will be relocated to another facility.
