Price Cost Analyst

Profile

Description: Develop supplier capture strategy for pursuit of long-range objectives and strategic plans to ensure effective material integration on program campaign pursuits, and establish new or renewed contracts. Performs and documents price/cost analysis on a variety of proposals for development, production and sustainment of major systems. Analyzes supplier's projected estimated costs for reasonableness, reviewing in detail the significant direct cost elements of material, labor, and special tooling. Evaluations of supplier proposals are provided to the government customer and used in prime proposal pricing. Develops negotiation strategies and concludes both supplier and prime negotiations to achieve company profit objectives and customer affordability goals.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

Desired Skills:

previous experience in defense industry

previous LM experience

Previous experience working in supplier strategy

5 years of supply chain experience
