Aehr Test Systems appoints new VP of Operations
Aehr Test Systems has announced the appointment of Joel Bustos as its new vice president of operations. Bustos, who has more than 20 years of management experience in the high-tech industry, will be responsible for managing the company's manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and manufacturing engineering functions. He comes from Celestica, an electronic-manufacturing services company, where he was general manager of the Global Consumer Business Unit. At Celestica, Bustos worked in a number of areas including business development, finance, manufacturing operations, and customer service repair. Based in Fremont, CA, Aehr Test Systems is a leading semiconductor test and burn-in equipment provider.
The Marino Group names Operations Manager
The Marino Group has promoted Joanne M. Vishaway to Operations Manager of Marino Parking Systems/Regency Executive Services and Transportation. Vishaway, who has been with the company since 2005, has worked as a driver, dispatcher, and manager. Vishaway is the former owner of Naples-based Jo-Jo's Cab Company. Located in Naples, FL, the Marino Group provides a wide range of limousine and valet parking services in southwest Florida through Marino Parking and Regency Executive Services & Transportation. First American has new VP, Sacramento escrow operations manager
First American Title Insurance Company has named Christine Helton-Adams as vice president, Sacramento escrow operations manager. Helton-Adams joined the company in 1986 and worked in its customer-service department. She was promoted to the title department in 1989, where she served for nine years in positions including manager of the department, before moving on to escrow. Helton-Adams will replace Pamela L. Pucci—who has been promoted to vice president, county manager for Sacramento and South Placer Counties. First American's history dates back to 1960 when Bankers Title Guaranty Company was formed and initiated the title insurance business from First American.
Elroy Smith joins Radio One as operations manager
A top programmer and former operations manager of Clear Channel Radio's urban stations in Chicago, Elroy Smith will join Radio One as operations manager for its three stations in Philadelphia - WPHI-FM, WRNB-FM, and WPPZ-FM. Smith stepped down as programmer at Clear Channel Radio on June 1, after 15 years. Smith, who attracts corporate sponsorships reaching $10,000, received a star-studded tribute in his honor at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. He earlier managed operations at various radio
channels -urban contemporary, urban adult-contemporary, and gospel.
Hampton Hotels announces new Senior Director
Hampton Hotels has appointed Kurt Smith as senior director of product service and development. Leading a team of six, Smith will work on global development strategy for the hotel brand and will be in charge of developing and implementing new product and service standards. Prior to the appointment, he was director of global brand integration at the Hotel group. He has also served the group as director of hotel performance support. Earlier in his career, Smith was resident manager of a hotel in Evanston, Illinois. The group, which consists of Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites hotels, is part of the Hilton Hotels Corporation that boasts of 2,800 hotels totaling 480,000 rooms in 76 countries.
